My first release as hope.dmg. So much more to come :)
These tracks were mostly made on a Dirtywave M8 tracker. They capture my experience of club music / represent the kind of music I want to hear in a Club environment. In a way it is a love letter to a sector of the Melbourne Club scene / some very specific venues which I feel comfortable in. At the same time it is inspired by global Club, Hip-Hop and Electronic genres.

For me CANT GET ME is a reminder that I believe in myself and my work as an artist. I 'put my heart' into all my creative outputs, whether it is music, visual design or the way I present myself. And if one of my tracks can make me move then it's already a 'hit,' it's already successful and all the other stuff is side-quests.

TURNDOWN was the first track I made where I felt I had found myself sonically, so it is very special to me. Since then, it continues to impact my work, and I still see it as a perfect example of what I am trying to do sonically as hope.dmg. Basically it is one of the most 'hope.dmg' songs I have made, so it makes sense for it to be part of my first official release.

Both of these tracks are part of an EP which is set to release early 2024
